CARFIT - Helping Mature Drivers Find Their Perfect Fit

Tuesday, July 26th, 10am-12pm. Discover your perfect "fit"! CarFit is an interactive & educational program sponsored by AARP and offers older adults the opport...unity to check to see how well you and your car work together to ensure safer driving. You will learn how to adjust your car for comfort and safety and leave with recommeded car adjustments and adaptions and a greater piece of mind. Pre-registration is required. Presented by John Vajda, AARP Driver Safety State CarFit Coordinator and William Gumbman, Rutherford Police Dept. Traffic Coordinator. This program will take place in your car, parked in the municipal garage on the 3rd floor. Call 201 460-1600 to pre-register.

  • "Motown Showdown"- Monday, July 11 at Caesars Atlantic City.  $40 per person.  Bus leaves at 9:00 and returns at 8 pm.  (Includes $20 slot play)
  • Haunted Happenings in Salem, MA.- Friday, Oct. 14th to Sunday, Oct. 16th.  2 nights at Fairfield Inn by Marriott.  Double occupancy $425.  Deposit due June 15th.
  • Tony Orlando's Great American Christmas Show- Sands, Bethlehem PA, Monday, Nov. 28th. Bus leaves at 10:00 and returns at 7:00. $75 per person. (includes casino bonus)

Thursday, July 28th 10am - Avoid getting scammed!  From the IRS Phone Scam to lottery and sweepstakes scams, to the so-called grandparent scam, it appears that imposter frauds and other criminal scams are more active than ever and are preying on potential victims in New Jersey through phone calls, emails and other means.  Join Melenie Hazem, a representative from the Office of the Attorney General Division of Consumer Affairs.  Pre-Registration is required.
