Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition Program- offered by the Div. of Senior Services. The income guidelines to receive a voucher for $20 worth of fresh produce is $1.604 per month for a single person and $2,159 for a couple. Call (201) 336-7437 for further information. Free Pencil Drawing Classes

Susan Kim will teach this class from 1:00 to 2:00 on Thursdays during the summer session. Advance sign-up is requested. Bring pencils and drawing paper.

Computer Club

Beginning in July, students will be available to assist.  Check the office for days and times.

50/50 Raffle Books

This year's winners for our Annual 50/50, winners divided the $7,260 total taken in. We are happy to report that the first prize winner was one our members, Joan Eveleens, who received $1,815 Second prize went to Bob Clark for $1,089 and the third prize winner, Kenny Fielder, received $726. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to allwho supported our 50/50 this year!

Annual Golf Outing

The 13th Annual Golf Outing was held on May 19th at High Point Country Club.

In spite of the weather, 114 hardy golfers turned out to participate in the event. We thank Boiling Springs Savings Bank for sponoring the golf shirts and also a Platinum sponsorship. Thanks also to Kearny Federal Savings for bumping up their Platinum sponsorship to become the exclusive Dinner Sponsor. We are grateful to the Rutherford Elks Lodge 547 for sponsoring the golf balls, and Joel Brizzi for donating the bottled water. The winner of the outing was Phil Possessky, and for the fourth year, the Longest Drive winner was Joe McGuire. New Computers

Through the generosity of Boiling Springs Savings Bank and their sponsorhsip of our computer labe, we recently were able to purchase new computers for the seniors to take lessons on or to just use to access the internet, eamil grandchildren, or keep up to date with correspondence. Classes are offered during our regular sessions, and students provide one-on-one assistance during our computer club. If you need further information, please call the office at 201-460-1600.

Defibrillator Donated

Dr. Isralowitz and the NJ Physicians Group donated a defibrillator to 55 Kip Center on May 31st. Four members of the staff attended CPR/AED course to become certified for its use. One of our fitness instructors is also certified.

"Caring for You, Caring for Me" Workshops

Ronnie Cahill has recently completed the first 5 week support workshop of "Caring for You, Caring For Me."This program is sponsored by Women United In Philanthropy. The 10 hour program is open to both fmaily and professional caregivers to share common concerns, to learn methods of coping, and to gain information on resources available. Spiral Meditation - ** New Class with instructor Anna Gramlich on Tuesday evenings after Arthritis Foundation Exercise. Learn the techniques to develop more strength and flexibility, working with the breath and meditation to relax and heal the body and create a calmer inner you.

Computer classes will run 2 hours, twice a week for 3 weeks - a total of 12 hours of class time for $50.00.
