55 Kip Center has established itself as a community focal point where older adults can come together for services and activities that reflect their diverse needs and interests, enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their involvement in and with the center and the community.

Transportation
Transportation is available on the mini-bus. The bus leaves the center every ˝ hour. The mini-bus is equipped to accommodate the disabled elderly. Membership also includes free parking in the garage.

Health and Wellness
The center offers several fitness classes that make exercise fun and beneficial including Chair Aerobics, Aerobics, For Men Only, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Yoga, and Meditation.
Blood pressure screenings and consultation are provided at 10:30 am the second and fourth Tuesday of the month.
A nutritious, hot lunch is served daily at the center. Kip Café features a full course home cooked meal on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Light breakfast is available on weekdays. Reservations are required and should be made two days in advance.
Workshops and lectures are offered on a wide variety of health and wellness topics to encourage and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Currently, the center sponsors three support groups - A Caregiver's Support Group, an Alzheimer's Support Group and an Aphasia Support Group. Each offers support to family caregivers as well as our members.

Spiritual Guidance
The center's Chaplain offers spiritual guidance to those at the center as well as center members whom may be homebound. His weekly discussion of the Bible incorporates Biblical teachings into today's world.

Education and Recreation
Kip Klasses, our educational component offers members the chance to continue to live and learn. From computers to drawing, creative writing and current events, older adults are constantly challenged and stimulated by the wide variety of classes.
Billiards and crafts are just some of the ways members relax and enjoy the time together. Kip Kruises, the center's trip component explores the world around us and ventures to museums, plays and attractions each month. Saturday afternoons showcase quality entertainment for Kip Center members.
